It is my privilege to extend a warm welcome to all of you at Safe and Sound Academy and abroad.

 

I am indeed very pleased to greet you and introduce to you the school’s website.

My name is Elizabeth Ramen Laverdure.  I have been working at Safe and Sound Academy for almost twelve years now and am proud of the  close collaboration with my directors, colleagues, parents and children.

 

Regarding my directors “Mr Clergy Joseph and Mrs Charon Potié”,  I can assure you that Improving the quality of education and caring for your children at all levels forms part of their major preoccupation. They make sure that learning takes place through the teaching/learning dispositions sustaining therefore responsive and reciprocal relationships between the child and his/her environment.

 

I hold the post of Administrative School Manager.  My work consists of the daily organisation and smooth running of the school and  to ensure that both the school mission and philosophy are fully implemented so that all children regardless of their abilities and capabilities, have access to a holistic approach and development.

.

I pay regular visits to classes to ensure that teaching and learning take place in a conducive atmosphere and friendly environment and see to it that no child is left unattended.

 

Being an educator, facilitator and school manager, I also ensure that appropriate furniture fit the child’s requirement.  The well-being of both teachers and pupils are put forward.

 

Monitoring, mentoring, counselling, advising and supporting pupils, teachers and parents at all levels also form part of my duty.

I attend to pupil’s registration, parent’s queries and teacher’s requests to the best of my ability.

 

I look into the organisation of educational outings and the school co curricular activities.

 

It is my duty to act as liason/interface officer between the school and the authorities concerned for an update of the latest development regarding new trends in the field of Education.

 

Last but not least, I would like to point out that my main responsibility is At this stage my key role is to maintain a sound interaction between all the stake holders i.e pupils parents and the school staff for the benefit of one and all.

 

No child is treated as a black box waiting to be filled in…no child forgets the one who initiates…, the one who inspires…, the one who cares and loves…” therefore dear all friends, parents, colleagues and directors together, hand in hand maximising every child’s potential..
